Ust-Katav car-building plant (UKCP, part of the State Space Corporation "Roscosmos") has dispatched a single-section tram car with 100% low-floor level to Krasnoyarsk, manufactured under a contract concluded with the city administration.

The tram car for Krasnoyarsk, model 71-628M, is equipped taking into account all technological nuances and customer requirements. It boasts a stylish modern exterior and interior design, wide passages in the cabin, increased smoothness of ride, and reduced noise levels due to advanced technological solutions implemented by UKCP designers.

The tram's passenger capacity is up to 160 people, with 40 seats provided in the car and a special area for passengers with reduced mobility, as well as an apparel - a device for their boarding and alighting. Passengers will be able to charge their gadgets during the tram ride using USB sockets.

"Last year, Krasnoyarsk placed an order for one car. However, this is just the beginning of cooperation. We believe that there will be an order for a larger batch in the future," - noted the General Director of UKCP.
